Are you passionate about engineering and eager to guide the next generation of skilled professionals? We are looking for a Skills Coach in Level 3 Engineering to support and mentor apprentices, helping them develop the expertise they need to excel in the industry.

About the Role

As a Skills Coach, you’ll play a key role in coaching, mentoring, and assessing apprentices, ensuring they gain the knowledge and practical skills required for success. You’ll work closely with both learners and employers, offering guidance and support throughout their training journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one coaching and mentoring to apprentices, helping them develop technical and professional skills.
• Conduct assessments and support apprentices in achieving high-quality results.
• Use an online e-portfolio system to track progress and maintain accurate records.
• Build strong relationships with learners and employers, ensuring apprentices are supported in their workplaces.
• Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions tailored to industry standards.
• Help apprentices develop essential skills, including maths and English, as part of their learning.
• Work closely with employers to ensure training aligns with business needs and industry expectations.

What We’re Looking For:

• A relevant Level 3 qualification in engineering.
• An Assessor qualification (or a willingness to obtain one).
• Experience in the engineering sector with a strong understanding of industry practices.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate learners.
• A proactive and supportive approach to coaching and mentoring.
